Do I need Charlemos to use TangoAtlas?

No. Your TangoAtlas Card is independent of Charlemos. The Card is your identity on TangoAtlas; Charlemos is optional — a community perk if you want to join the conversation.

What is the Fediverse?

A network of independent social servers that can talk to each other. Start here: fediverse.party and Friendica: friendi.ca.

Can others see my posts?

Yes. Public posts are visible from other Fediverse instances. For privacy options, see the Friendica help pages: help.friendi.ca.

I already use Mastodon — do I still need this?

Not required — but Charlemos is built for long tango conversations, events, and galleries, not microblogging. You can follow your Mastodon account from Charlemos (and vice versa).

How do I get in?

Complete your TangoAtlas Card first, then activate Charlemos access. Details at tangoatlas.org.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, anytime. Your data is yours — export and deletion are supported.

Where is the community app?

The Friendica instance lives at charlemos.club . This website (www.charlemos.club) is info and legal pages only.
