What is Charlemos?
A social network built on Friendica — part of the Fediverse. Write long posts, share events and photos, and follow people on Mastodon and elsewhere (and vice versa).
The difference: everyone here is a real tango person. No open signup for anyone — access through your TangoAtlas identity.
How it works
Your Card is your tango identity — who you are, where you dance, what roles you play.
With a complete Card you can activate Charlemos access.
No character limit. No reach tricks. Real conversations about milongas, music, travel, and the scene.
Why not Facebook?
Facebook groups are noisy, algorithm-driven, and hungry for data. Charlemos runs on open-source software, self-hosted, federated with the open web.
